J and M Photography

There are only a handful of people that have inspired me in this photographic journey of mine.

First, was my brother who showed me early on that it was possible (and even okay) for a regular person like me to take pictures for artistic expression.

Second, is my wonderful wife who encouraged me (after a long hiatus from photography) to start taking pictures again. She was the one who bought my first digital SLR camera and reminded me how fun it is to just take pictures.

Lastly, and by no means the least, is my child who has been an inspiration for so many things, not just photography. It's amazing how this one person can have such a profound influence on me and my wife's life.

It is my intent to grow as a photographer so that I can capture my child's and the rest of my family's life in such a way that it will show all the love and happiness that is sure to be present. All these pictures, this site and the pictures that I will be taking in the future are because of this one person.
